Our family first heard of Dr. Strobbe through a friend of a friend when we rescued our very first dog, Hermes, in 2011. Recently, we lost our senior dog, and she was there with compassion and love for us all. She even made the most thoughtful donation in his honor.  Dr. Strobbe now makes house calls! It's so much easier for our small pack to get care without the stress of car rides, other animals, and people. We've used this service, and our dogs were so much more at ease being home, and that makes Dr. Strobbe's job easier, too. Dr. Strobbe is such a big part of our pet's lives, and ours, she truly is like a member of our extended family. We love Dr. Strobbe!

We are so blessed to have found Dr. Abby! She not only is thorough in her exams but she always takes the time to make sure my boy is comfortable and happy the entire time. My Murphy has never exhibited any signs of the typical stress that visits to the vet bring. It is like just going to hang out with one of his “people”. 10/10 every time!

Abby was our vet for only four years or so - when she lived in Maine. And yet it feels as if she’d always been the one. She saw us through the death of one dog, multiple issues with another and guided us in caring for our aging cat. SHE CAME TO OUR HOUSE!!! I miss her. I’m jealous of the people in Iowa. I want her back.

When we first got our now 13-year-old Yorkie, Roxy, she was skin and bones, skittish, we had rescued her as a breeder, dog with a very sensitive stomach. She struggled with frequent bouts of vomiting and diarrhea every couple of months, and we worried constantly about her health. Then we found Abby, our natural veterinarian, and everything changed. With Abby’s thoughtful care and guidance, Roxy slowly began to put on healthy weight, her coat grew back beautifully, and her stomach issues improved tremendously. Now, Roxy is so much happier, calmer, and more vibrant than we ever imagined possible at her age. What makes Abby truly special is not just her knowledge, but the time she takes to get to know us and her genuine love and concern for Roxy. We are so grateful for the difference she has made in our little girl’s life, and we can’t recommend her highly enough.
